Busy week=Busy Momma

Whoa! This has been a SUPER busy week for us! Kinley had a play at her school Tuesday night and it was so cute! She played Polly Flander's mother, and had to "whoop"(as she calls it) Polly.  Well, her teachers must have paired her part with her attitude because it fit her perfectly.  She is too stinkin' cute and such a little mess.  Also, she FINALLY lost her first tooth Monday at school {she has wanted to loose a tooth since she was 3 years old}, so her dream came true.  I asked her what she was saving her money for and she said, "An iPod..duh!" How in the world does she know about an iPod ALREADY?!

Today, I had to go order my hood for graduation. I FINALLY see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I will be graduating with a Master's Degree in Special Education in May.  It is going to be bittersweet for me.  I like learning about new things, strategies, and getting tips from other master students; however, I will not miss ALL of the BUSY work and deadlines! 

More exciting news from this week: Tonight Bentlee got out of the bathtub and tee-teed on the floor. I looked at him and said, "You are not suppose to tee-tee on the floor, you are suppose to use the potty." He quickly ran to the potty and lifted up the lid and just stood in front of it.  It was too cute---looks like potty training is around the corner. Anyone have any good advice?

I had to make this picture black and white because I had my wisdom teeth removed a week ago and HOLY MOLY the bruising JUST started! It is terrible! Zack asked me why I had hi-lighter all over my face!  I ran to the bathroom and realized that it was bruising.

Okay, so today was Zack's first day to be off in a long time due to quail season.  So, of course, I had a list of "Honey Do's" for him to do before he could go have fun {GOLF}.  One thing on the list was for him to clean out the gutters.  First, I must tell you that our ladder is at my father-in-laws house; however, Zack was determined that he was going to get it done so he could golf.  So, he decided to put the step ladder ON TOP of the garbage can {Yes, I said ON TOP OF THE GARBAGE CAN}! He makes it on top of the house fine--I was holding the ladder down.  Once he got up there and was almost done, Zack says, "Jen, how am I going to get down?" I say, "The same way you got up with the step ladder." He proceeds to explain to me that his weight coming down would tip the ladder and that I was not strong enough to hold the ladder up.  So, he tells me to call his friend Derick to come help him get down.  I call Derick to come; I think he thought I was lying. Derick was able to hold the ladder and Zack made it down and got to go play golf! End result of this mis-adventure: the gutters got cleaned out AND Zack got a sunburn for being on the roof for quite a while!  Here are pictures for proof.

I am the WORST Blogger EVER!

I will admit that YES I am the WORST Blogger EVER! I am going to try to do better! Nothing too exciting has been happening in our lives.  This past week I had Spring Break, and I enjoyed it or should I say laid up from having my wisdom teeth removed.  It was SO NOT FUN!  Anyway, it didn't keep me down long, and I got to enjoy the end of the week hanging out with the coolest kid around {Bentlee}.  We started out by visiting the Tisdale's Farm {B got to see a baby calf born}, then we went to the Zoo {which he LOVED}, played with cousins, and pretty much just laid around.

Bentlee is walking RUNNING everywhere! He can now say: Hot, that's hot, fish, horse, bye, What is that?, I see that, and touch.  His FAVORITE words are: HOT and FISH.  It is so cute because every animal is a fish and everything is hot.  We are working on those concepts though ;).  I wish that I could blog from my iPad-it would be so much easier (let me know if you have any tips!
